Our Story
In the wake of a rapidly changing educational landscape that is marked by digital transformation, cross-border learning, and the rising calls for quality and accountability, TransformED Asia Pacific was born out of one fundamental question: How can educators not just adapt, but lead transformation?
Our journey began in the Philippines, shaped by years of grassroots engagement, policy work, and global partnerships. Founded by a coalition of educators, researchers, and capacity-building experts, TransformED is committed to bridging local realities with global competencies. Rooted in the belief that meaningful transformation begins with listening to teachers, to the youth, and to underserved voices, we founded TransformED to bridge innovation with inclusion. We offer training and consulting services, engage in research and policy advocacy, and launch community-based projects that reflect the diverse realities of learners in Asia Pacific.
Through intensive training programs, strategic consulting, policy research, and community-based projects, we create platforms where education professionals can engage with thought leaders, elevate institutional practices, and build enduring partnerships across sectors and borders.
TransformED is a growing network in Asia Pacific education ecosystem. We believe that to truly transform education, we must equip those who shape it with knowledge, tools, and a shared purpose for change.

Lian Marie Sayno is an international development and project management professional with a decade of experience across nonprofit, government, and community sectors in Canada and globally. She holds a Master of Global Affairs from the Munk School at the University of Toronto.
Based in Toronto, she leads federally funded initiatives at WeCanConnect Volunteer Solutions and serves as TransformED's Country Representative for Canada, driving cross-sector educational partnerships and agile project delivery.

Felipe “Pey” Canlas is a development practitioner, digital innovator, and Executive Director of the Wireless Access for Health Initiative (WAH). He brings deep expertise in grassroots development, digital governance, and scaling local institutional solutions across the Philippines.
As Country Representative for the Philippines, he champions community-based learning models, local capacity-building, and education initiatives grounded in local realities.

Anthony Blardony Jr. serves as the Country Coordinator for Myanmar. He brings extensive experience in educational leadership, educator networking, and community resilience in challenging educational environments.
He spearheads the upcoming Future Schools Forum in Yangon, connecting local educators and youth leaders with the broader international education community.

Brian V. Gonzales is an international development and conservation specialist with over 20 years of experience across Southeast Asia in policy development, environmental governance, and institutional capacity-building.
Based in Bangkok, he serves as Country Representative for Thailand, bridging educational innovation with environmental literacy, sustainable development, and youth leadership across the Mekong region.

Honorary Board of Advisors
Charles Isaac N. Deita, Ph.D.
Technology management expert, educator, and business executive with extensive experience in both academic and industry sectors in the Philippines and abroad. He holds a Ph.D. in Technology Management from the Technological University of the Philippines, with research focused on establishing a cyber university. Currently, he serves as Country Manager of Kentkart Turkey and Chairman/CEO of Beskar Technologies Inc., while also teaching part-time at The Manila Times College. Dr. Deita has led multiple academic and technology-driven initiatives, including projects funded by the US Department of Education and Guam Cancer Trust Fund. He continues to contribute to innovation in digital education, smart mobility, and curriculum design.
Cristina Gracia Dela Rosa Serrano
Executive Vice President of Richwell Colleges, where she also served as Senior High School Principal. She has over a decade of experience in secondary education, having taught at the University of Santo Tomas Junior High School and served as a Level Coordinator. She holds a Master's Degree in Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education, both from the University of Santo Tomas. Cristina is also actively involved in civic work as President-elect of Soroptimist International Plaridel Club and Secretary of the Rotary Club of Plaridel Polaris.
Danilo M. Padilla
Filipino education specialist and international development leader with over 25 years of experience in global education systems. He is the CEO of TransformED Asia Pacific and Vice President for Partnership and Development at the Institute for Global Education Exchange and Internship (IGEEI). His career includes key leadership roles at UNESCO, where he managed major education programs across Asia, the Gulf States, and conflict-affected countries like Afghanistan. He brings deep expertise in policy development, education reform, and international collaboration.
Emmanuel Rey R. Caintic
​Former Acting Secretary
Department of Information and Communications Technology of the Philippines

An accomplished ICT leader and digital transformation strategist with over 25 years of experience in both the private and public sectors. He served as Acting Secretary, Undersecretary, and Assistant Secretary of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), leading major programs such as the National Broadband Plan, VaxCertPH, and the Digital Cities initiative. Before joining the government, he was CEO of Incuventure Partners Corporation, providing digital solutions to key government institutions. A graduate of Ateneo de Manila University with degrees in Physics and Computer Engineering, he is currently completing his Master’s in Business Economics at the University of Asia and the Pacific. Mr. Caintic continues to advocate for inclusive, secure, and innovative digital development in the Philippines.
Ms. Cinderella Cruz Victorina

​Ms. Cinderella Cruz Victorina, MASpED is the President and CEO of Mulberry International, a pioneering institution dedicated to early childhood education and development. With a Master of Arts in Special Education (MASpED), Ms. Victorina brings over two decades of experience in inclusive education, curriculum innovation, and school leadership. Under her visionary guidance, Mulberry International has grown into a model learning institution that integrates child-centered pedagogy, differentiated instruction, and holistic development practices to nurture young learners of diverse backgrounds and abilities. A passionate advocate for early literacy and inclusive learning environments, Ms. Victorina has led numerous teacher training programs and community outreach initiatives, empowering educators and families to support foundational learning. Her commitment to educational equity and innovation continues to shape meaningful change in the early childhood education landscape of the Philippines.
Clint Lauron
A seasoned Technical Virtual Assistant with over 14 years of experience in graphic design, UI/UX, and website development. He has worked with clients globally, creating visually engaging designs for mobile apps, websites, and digital marketing campaigns. His expertise spans tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and WordPress. Clint also brings experience in video editing and SEO, making him a well-rounded creative and technical professional. He is known for delivering high-quality, on-brand visuals that help businesses grow their online presence.
Matthew Dominic D. Dimapawi
researcher and administrative professional with experience in public service and international organizations. He currently works as Research Staff at the International Telecommunication Union in Bangkok, focusing on digital transformation, innovation, and development. With a strong background in philosophy, sociology, and international studies, he has contributed to both academic and policy research. He is also skilled in copyediting, copywriting, and content development. His previous roles include serving at the Office of the Presidential Spokesperson and the Department of Information and Communications Technology in the Philippines.
